Beautiful Day for Photo Outing and Testing New Toys With Kortney and Christian

Session Location: Chambers Bay Park, Washington, USA

This is when I just got the brand new Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 vc and the Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 vc and Kortney and Christian are so kind to go out with me to Chambers Bay Park, Tacoma for a test drive of the new lenses.  This will allow me to find out if I really like it, be familiar with the handling, and basically to get use to it before using it at my next wedding.  I have also just bought the Spider dual camera system holster, so it was a great opportunity to test it out as well.

It was a super beautiful day again, my luck has been good lately!  It was hot when we start and I started sweating heavily.  The two Tamron lenses are not light and I am also adjusting to the weight of the camera being shifted to my waist through the Spider holster.  It took a while for me to get comfortable with the setup.  But the hard part is over rather quickly, the temperature eventually drop to a comfortable level and I started to get a hang of the holster, that’s when things turn for the better.

Very soon, the sun set slightly behind us, turning it’s hash light into a wonderful soft ray, at the same time giving me a beautiful angle to go for some beautiful back-lit shots.  It turn out perfect, it is exactly how I wanted.  When you get everything just right, the feeling is quite magical.

Of course, having two very beautiful people as your subject help too, a lot!  Thank you Kortney and Christian, you guys are so beautiful and sweet :)

The day quickly progress and it didn’t take long for me to realize I love these two Tamron lenses and the spider holster.  They are the perfect combination and I believe I now have the best tools for my next wedding.  I will do a review on both the lens and the holster later on separate blog post.

All and all, it was a beautiful day for the photo session and testing my new toys, and Kortney and Christian are always a pleasure to work with.  I hope you enjoy the photos and if you also own the two Tamron lenses mentioned, please share with me your experience and how you like them :)
