Tanny And Samy Pre-Wedding Session

Session Location: Point of Defiance Rose Garden & Owen Beach, Tacoma, Washington, United States

Congratulation to Tanny and Samy!  What a lovely couple, I have such a great time working with you guys. you guys make it a super fun day, thank you for giving me the chance to capture your love story :)

It was an amazing day, the weather was perfect, and that make for a very busy Saturday afternoon at the Point of Defiance State Park in Tacoma.  The place were packed, not just with tourist and locals who came out in swamp to enjoy the nice weather at the park, apparently it was also a perfect day for photo shoot as well.  I swear I have seen at least three other photo shoot sessions going on at the same time we were shooting.  Even so, we managed to find spots where we can avoid people in the background.

We started the day at the Rose Garden and all the roses were in full bloom, it was beautiful and it gave us the perfect backdrop.  Although we were able to mostly avoid people in the photos, the Rose Tunnel is a bit tricky as there’s people in there all the time.  Hey, can’t blame them, who doesn’t want to walk through the beautiful and romantic Rose Tunnel?  So we were patiently waiting while shooting near the Rose Tunnel, and as soon as the Rose Tunnel is free of human traffic, we rush in there and took our shots.  I make sure I take extra clicks as it is rare for the Rose Tunnel to be clear of people, got to seize the opportunity :)

After the Rose Garden, we headed to Owen beach for some Puget Sound beauty.  By this time the sun has already hiding behind us, the breeze has picked up in speed and it’s getting a bit chilly, even though it’s already late in June, but since we are in the Pacific Northwest,  this is actually normal.  Despite the cold, we still manage to stay a while and take quite a few shots.  Overall, it was a very nice day that makes for a very nice photo outing.

Again, congratulation to both Tanny and Samy, I look forward to capturing your wedding next week :)
